Paris, 8 October 2026
Ezus, the management software for travel agencies, DMCs and tour operators, is launching on 8 October a connector for Claude, the artificial intelligence assistant developed by Anthropic. Once their account is connected, teams query and update Ezus by typing their request in plain language, without leaving their conversation. The connector is available to Ezus customers on the Premium plan and above.
In a bespoke travel agency, a large share of production time goes into data entry. Programmes arrive from ground handlers as Word files, PDFs or in the body of an email, and have to be re-entered step by step. Supplier rate sheets are imported line by line. A simple question, such as which confirmed trips still have an unpaid balance, often means exporting and cross-checking several lists.
The connector is built on MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard that lets an AI assistant access software securely. It covers four main uses.
The user attaches an existing programme to the conversation, for example the schedule of a seminar in Lisbon, and Claude creates the matching project in Ezus with its steps, services and prices. Claude can also build a first proposal from a simple trip idea. In that case, the services and rates it suggests must be checked with suppliers before anything is sent to the client.
From an Excel file or a rate sheet, Claude maps the columns to Ezus fields, flags duplicates and price differences with the existing catalogue, then asks what to create, update or skip. It also writes short and long product descriptions in several languages.
Which projects depart next week, what is the net margin per salesperson on September invoices, which invoices are overdue: the answers come straight from the account data, without building a report. Client deposits and supplier invoices can also be recorded without opening the project concerned.
The connector is read-only when activated. Creating and editing data is enabled on request from Ezus. Claude summarises each operation before saving it, has no delete function, and only accesses the data the user's Ezus permissions allow.
“Our clients talk to us less about AI than about the time spent re-entering programmes and looking for information in lists. Rather than adding yet another tool, we wanted the assistant they already use to work directly in Ezus, with their data and their permissions. Time saved on data entry is time given back to advising and selling.” [CITATION À VALIDER PAR CHARLES]
