Elux Group is a French specialist in tailor-made and experiential luxury travel that brings together several complementary brands. On the outbound side, Eluxtravel and La Route des Voyages design bespoke trips that take travelers all over the world. On the inbound side, the group runs a network of receptive DMCs, Eluxfrance, Eluxspain, Eluxitaly and Elux Switzerland, serving premium travel agencies, while Eluxevent creates ultra premium trips built around cultural, sporting and gastronomic events.
Founded by Frédéric Savoyen, the group has grown fast. It raised 5 million euros in 2024 to expand across Europe, acquired La Route des Voyages and its agencies, and opened a flagship in Paris. Today Elux Group positions itself as a reference in high end, made to measure travel, with teams of travel designers spread across several agencies in France and beyond.
What do you like best about Ezus?
"What convinced me at the start was the youth of Ezus. It can seem surprising, but I made the bet to commit to a tool, and above all to a company, that was clearly going to grow and was promising, and one where we had the chance to take part in building the product and adapt it as much as possible to the specific needs of tailor-made travel. One of the first arguments is the ergonomics: the tool is simple and intuitive to use. And its constant evolution lets us believe that whatever we do tomorrow can be handled by Ezus as our market changes."
What problems is Ezus solving and how is that benefiting you?
"Before Ezus we were even more complex than we are today. We worked a lot with Excel, we already had Pipedrive as a CRM, and we had set up a system to build our quotes from an American tool, all held together by little bridges between these different tools. What changed the most is the ease of designing quotations and the fact that we make far fewer mistakes, because the calculations used to be manual and are now much more secure thanks to the tool. We easily gained 25% in productivity on building and pricing our proposals, and on the operational management of our trips, since everything is now handled from a single file in Ezus. File closing is another feature I really wanted, and maybe imposed a little on Ezus at the beginning, but it has become totally indispensable: it gives us real management control between what was planned on a trip file and the accounting reality once the file is returned and validated."
How is the customer experience?
"My advice to Ezus is to keep evolving constantly, and not to do what some others do, where the product is supposedly finished and the focus shifts to its marketing rather than its evolution. The success of Ezus depends on these constant innovations and on the creativity shared with its customers. With the current geopolitical situation, we all share the same concerns, but having tools that are this effective clearly helps us anticipate problems even better. A month ago, for example, being able to see very quickly where our clients were and which travel company they were with, in a very simple way, made us far more efficient and much less stressed, and it left us more time to spend helping our clients rather than searching for where they were and how they had left."
